I believe that a supportive environment is the essential element in the education of a child. I believe it is my duty as an educator to play an active role to cultivate this very environment by providing a safe, friendly, and caring experience. I believe I should be a source of encouragement, motivation, enthusiasm, and laughter. I also believe that teaching and learning to discover the world of science extend far beyond the confining walls of a school and into the everyday lives of children at home. Without connecting science to their world, stagnation can occur, producing individuals who are idle and less successful at their endeavors.
